We wanted a new and unique centerpiece table for our Minneapolis showroom for a Home and Gift show a few years back. Conceived at 11am on the morning we were to leave for the 9 hour drive to Minneapolis. Was loaded onto the trailer 11 hours later. Table legs are the steps removed from a caboose stranded on a friend’s property. Top and shelf are reclaimed antique Maple floor boards from a Zeeland, Michigan farm house prior to it’s demolition. Solid Copper Nuts and Bolts found in a garage we purchased the rights to. This piece has all the elements we strive for: inventiveness, history, story, and of course fine craftsmanship from conception to finish, though we did leave this piece just a little bit intentionally raw.
