Alex, the very design conscious founder and owner of Simpatico, a coffee producer and wholesaler in Holland Michigan, wanted a fun and colorful twist on an otherwise spare and modern aesthetic for his company’s first two retail outlets. We used Old Growth Fir and Southern Yellow Pine Bleacher Boards along with some reclaimed oak out of an historic school building to create the tabletops and bar fronts. The tops have dyed epoxy inlays.
